Makkah Guide — Sights and Ziyarat
Beyond the Haram — the historical sites of Makkah every pilgrim should know about.

Masjid al-Haram
The heart of Makkah, home to the Ka'bah. Enter with the right foot and recite the du'a of entry. Peak crowd times are Friday prayers and Ramadan evenings.
Cave of Hira
Located atop Jabal al-Noor, this is where the first revelation was received. A visit is not obligatory but is meaningful.
Jannat al-Mualla
The historic cemetery where Khadijah (RA) and many companions are buried.
Moving around
Most premium and luxury packages include Haram-front hotels. For budget stays, use the free shuttle buses or the Makkah Metro during Hajj season.
